The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has made major changes to the 2025-26 season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). In this season of BPL those the 5 team are:
- Dhaka Capitals
- Rangpur Riders
- Chattogram Royals (new name)
- Rajshahi Warriors (new ownership)

With the number of teams shrinking in the new season, competition for stars will increase. Every franchise is going to fight hard to attract big foreign cricketers. The change in ownership of the three new teams, rebranding, and the return of the auction system have made BPL 2025–26 more attractive.
